    Which cohort is right for you?

    Emerging Leader

    25 years old - 35 years old

    With some work experience in your toolbelt, you are ready to settle into your career and establish yourself as a high potential employee.

    This program will help you deepen your self-knowledge, build confidence to go after your goals, and position yourself for advancement.

    Rising Star

    36 years old -44 years old

    You have been working hard, making a name for yourself, and now you are ready for the next level of leadership.

    This program will help you obtain the skills to become a trusted leader with the ability to manage and lead effectively.

    Excelling Ace

    45 years old - 55 years old

    You've been considered the Subject Matter expert and possess a great deal of corporate knowledge.

    This program will assist you in excelling in your final phase of work and preparing for the transition after employment

  • The cohort descriptions are our suggestions for age brackets and experience levels.

    If your journey is not aligned with the recommended age and experience, you may elect to join a different cohort that is more aligned with your needs. Women outside of the identified age brackets may request special consideration for admission.

  • Program Insights

    Here's what you need to know.

    Program Length

    Each cohort will receive designated content over a 6 month period. Program start and end dates will be outlined in the application process.

    Program Delivery

    All content will be relayed virtually, Access to the internet is necessary to review the modules, get the assignments, and download resources.

    Virtual meetings will be held amongst the cohorts to allow for relationship building, collaboration, and conversation.

    A stable internet connection is recommended for these meetings.

     

    When available, face to face meetups and networking events will be incorporated.

    It is important for us to build a community that you can have to grow with and lean on through this journey and beyond.

    Participant Commitment and Responsibility

    Every applicant that is selected to participate in the cohort is expected to complete all assignments and make all submissions according to the program schedule. We expect participants to attend all scheduled virtual meetings and meetups. Your dedication to the program and your cohort is a key factor in your success.

     

    Advance notification of absence is required so that the Program Director or designated facilitator can prepare and provide you with any information needed to succeed.

    Participant Consideration

    Our target audience is women of color who are ready to achieve their career goals through dedicated action and personal development.

    All ladies will be required to submit an application for acceptance. Applications will be thoroughly vetted for admission prior to acceptance into a cohort.

     

    This organization is founded by an African-American woman and designed to assist women who face obstacles because of their race.

    We believe that there is a place for all races to work toward equal consideration in the workplace and would love to enroll Allies to support our work.

    Participant Investment

    Applicants that are accepted into the program will be asked to pay a program membership fee.

    This fee will go toward the operational cost of The HUE Leadership Alliance, Inc.

     

    Opportunities for enhanced activities may be presented. Participants who choose these activities may incur an additional out-of-pocket expense.
